Caught Apocalypto w dawn & beckii at lido before meeting dawn's family & hl at Foo House for dinner. i wondered if i was watching discovery ch in e cinema. The show was totally in tribal language & certain scenes were gruesome. Many killings & violences. e very first scene depicted a man eating e raw balls of a tapir. Another one abt Jaguar's wife doing a waterbirth in a pit. The number of dead headless bodies was unbelievable. hmmm haven seen e girls for more than 2 weeks. The Foo House was located near simpang. The serving portion was big & we were v full. sleepy le.

someone who observed the details of your life. someone who seems to rem who you are than you really could. you jus hav to say it once & its imprinted. however, for some others, you have to repeat countless times & it still seems so insignificant to them. someone who actually made e effort to meet up after many rejections & those harsh words i once said. i could see e nervousness in him.

Eileen & Serene at dinner! A last min decision to join my mum & grandma to the "shin dou" which i used to go since i was young. Nowadays, i really cant sit there & eat anymore. Food doesnt seem tempting to me. Met my uncle & auntie & realized how long i haven seen them but still talking abt their rabbits etc. For the whole night, i was jus trying to see who she was sms-ing (nosy sis) & disturb her. hee.

3 straight days at work after the trip was exhuasting. Dealt w hanging cases & did e decor w e rest of my team for more than 12 hrs on thurs. All of us were shagged & dying to go home as most of us were working at 8am the very next day. H/w, our boss was still doing e statue when we left. Argh. Was discussing abt fengshui w my colleagues in the afternoon. Quite interesting & all of us started shifting our monitors to get better luck. The fengshui book is difficult to understand. Returned e books & went to MPH to look for books but was attracted to e bossa nova music playing in e store instead. Headed home to watch Innocent Steps bought in bkk. Like the sweet storyline from learning to performing in dance sports, how they actually put e scenes together. Although e music wasnt right for latin dance, agree tt emotional portion is as impt as any skill. What's dancing w/o feelings/chemistry? even it may be fake.. Come to think of it, almost all dance shows are about one teaching e other & in e end, both become lovers. hmm

The start of this journey was full of obstacles. Perhaps heaven thinks that we should have some " excitment" in our mundane life:

• First blow of the morn was my missing luggage due to others' negligence & no sense of urgency. Took AE2 (express bus) to the hotel ->worth it for single traveller, not for 2.


• Second blow of the day was the missing camera battery. First meal in bkk = A&W in Panthip Plaza


• Third blow of the day was the risk of being homeless when the receptionist told us tt there was no reservation made. Luckily June managed to get hold of Uncle & we heaved a sigh of relief

Phew, first stop was chatuchak weekend market by BTS. Less crowded than before but still as busy. Had pork ball noodle for lunch. We were almost shagged after covering the clothes section. Put our stuffs back to hotel, short walk along pratunam before proceeding to Suan Lum Night Bazaar. Chicken rice + a cube of chicken blood (yucks) for dinner. Saw the same kunda lookalike, rather blur. wahahaz. Bot some necessities to last until my luggage comes back. Reached hotel at ard 12am & received a fruit basket for some service recovery treatment. Zonked out while waiting to bathe...

MBK --> Omaishi Ramen for lunch --> Siam sq --> Chocolate butternut dunkin donut --> Siam paragon --> Patpong --> Dinner opp Pratunam Centre --> Pig's blood in Fish Maw Soup (Yummy!)--> my luggage was finally sent back from changi airport to e hotel after seeking help from Beckii --> Both of us fell asleep while watching discovery channel (Bunlap Tribal life), June woke up at 2+am to switch off the tv

Platinum Mall --> MBK--> Lunch outside hotel --> Grand Palace (Temple of Emerald Buddha - 3 types of clothes for each season - namely, rainy, windy & summer for the buddha & the king will change e clothes for the Buddha) --> Market towards Chao Phraya river --> tuk tuk to Khao San --> Banana Pancake --> Massage --> Porridge for dinner --> Shopping --> Phad Thai for supper

MBK --> Slack --> Lunch at Siam sq --> Little Siam --> Had 2 packs of thai ice tea in 3 hrs almost killed my stomach --> Met a cab uncle by the name of Peg who drove us to airport & taught us many thai useful language (but almost forgot all...) --> Reached sg at 10+pm--> Uncle fetched me to punggol nasi lemak for dinner & home --> KO-ed

Been watching Discovery Channel whenever we are in e hotel :

1. Zero Hour (Sinking of Estonia in Sept 1994 that took 800+ lives)
2. History of Angkor Wat & lives in cambodia
3. Bunlap Tribal life is rather interesting (soccer, guitar & phones)
4. Birth of 3 babies was gruesome

Slowly limping to office at 7+am is tiring. The swell doesnt seem to subside. Boohoo.. Need to see a doc soon.. Totally focused on something else for e whole day. Lunch w wj, pantry trips with RC, talking rubbish w CH, hitting MW w my one & only cushion & disturbing many other colleagues. What a nuisance i can be. Today is a fulfiling day! Looking forward to another new begining & loving lychee w rose petal tea...

I am most probably the clumsiest or most accident-prone person in the whole wide world. To think that i could actually fall down on the road while talking to beckii & hl. I hate falling on the rough road but actually who likes. *shrugs* 3 of us sat down on the pavement along the main road for a short while to clean up & started laughing at ourselves. With bleeding knee & foot and swollen ankle veins, I staggered to our hair dye-ing session, one of our all-time fav activities. Conveniently took the comb, our well-kept salon coat, lay the newspaper, stool & sat down on e familiar spot. Loving DIY dye & feeling pampered especially done by them. hee. Its been a while since i helped anyone dye. Almost accidentally dripped into hl's eye. phew.

Whenever i walked up e escalator, i would smell the fragrance of the herbal soup & imagined the taste of it. However, it din taste as great as i thought. Having ba ku teh as soup base for steamboat was something I nv see before. Despite the long day at work, we were still happily laughing at our past & having aftermeal-tea at wang jiao. Some of them finished work at almost 8 while e 2 of us couldnt take the hunger anymore & ate first. lol. Reached home to catch some variety show on ch u & they were teaching DIY face masks:

Just hav to mix/blend them will do. There was another one for dry skin but i couldnt rem already..

MAAD at Red Dot Design Museum. It was closed & will only reopen on 3rd Feb. Hence, we headed to town for some shopping until my knees couldn't take it anymore. First week of e year just flew passed with work, shopping, interview, a minor car crash & clubbing. Foreseeing that work is gonna be bad for 1 more week or so due to the mysterious cases..
