The old saying, "Laughter is the best medicine", still applies. After mad rush at work (everything seems so urgent, in & out of meeting, figuring out which shirt suits best, no time to even digest the information & new information were presented, phew), catching the movies every other day surely did help to reduce the stress level. We were very entertained by the black & white bear and his friends. I didn't see it coming when the fortune telling goat said to the peacock, "If you continue this path, you will be...at the end of the stairs." haha amused. On another occasion, we were brought to a modern fairytale. We learnt about a 1966 poem on enjoying the simplest thing in life with the most desired one is better than anything in the world. A thoughtful gift accompanied with a sincere poem recital turned everything so beautiful.

In view of the gss, we did a minor update for our wardrobe. Over drinks, she teared over the lost of someone dear few years ago. I was shocked that 4 of us experienced the same thing. I wanted to know more but I couldn't bring myself to probe further. At that very moment, I gently tapped her hands and said, "lets look ahead.." Easier said than done, I know. I was bothered by this & thought of the person who suffered the same. I msged that person to find out if things had been going well. The replies were joyful and I was glad.

Sunday was a work day for me but in a relax mode. It was reviewing all the contestants. Behind the scene was more entertaining than whats up on the stage. Haa..

Seeing my worried look & lost appetite, she quoted from stephen covey's book, drew a big circle and said, "this is our circle of concerns". She drew a smaller circle inside the big circle and said, "while this is our circle of influence". Focus on the area of influence instead of worrying about things you have no control over. In this way, the circle of influence will enlarge while the circle of concerns will shrink. In marketing, there is no right & wrong. Hence, it makes everything very subjective & debatable. For example of color proofing, the color proof differs slightly from the pantone color chart. However, the overseas printer comes to say that the printing machine can only produce these colors of tolerance level. The influence over the printing machine is only this much. There is no real control over the printing machine unless engaging another printer but this will give rise to other concerns such as timeline etc. Is the time, money and effort to put into getting the correct color worthwhile? Are there more important things that you have better control over and create greater achievement? Identifying and determining the point of letting go perfectionism is critical.

When the youngest of us all is leaving her singlehood in the traditional way (she rom-ed last year), we celebrate! Emails were flying everywhere for the past 2 weeks to discuss about the PLAN. Finally, Ta Dah!

We met at Mustafa at 11+am to buy all the things we needed. We reminded ourselves not to buy any crazy ribbon/party popper or anything that might damage the room. We surely do not want history to repeat itself! Haha. Thereafter, we went to Chinatown to look for our cheap & good silk pjs! We got the hen night board from QL before going to Klapsons. The carpark design was really bad & dangerous. The Oasis Suite was nice & cozy. We were shocked when we realized the shower room is open air, pleasantly surprised when there is a jacuzzi & a big terrace garden. We decorated the place, blew more than 70 balloons, got breathless, started snacking and playing twister by ourselves. We headed down to Timbre Old School at 6pm.

We were so hungry that we ordered the wings, calamari, fries & beers first while waiting for the Hen. When the Hen arrived, we got 3 half & half pizza, ribs & wings. As we had our dinner, the Hen said we looked cheeky whole night. Haha. We were up to no good but nothing embarrassing, of course. We gave her the tiara & purple feather. We made some dedications for the Hen & she was invited to the stage for some BTB games *wink, hush hush, fresh meat from the oven*. We told the hen that this was it for the night because we couldn't think of anymore stuffs for her. She gave us a suspicious look. We told her we gonna end the night off with a drink from all of us. The flaming tower came. The smell of it made wanna puke! Being the brave Hen, she finished it off. We took many many pictures.

Thereafter, we told her, "this is just the tip of the iceberg! there is a long night to go!" We got her blindfolded. The 2 cars headed back to Klapsons. On the way back, the Hen was very high & started guessing where we were bringing her to. MBS? RWS? Casino? St James? No no. We dropped her off at the lobby as some of the went up to prepare. She started vomiting a little but still alright. We brought her up to Room 305. Woo~ She was pleasantly surprised by the balloons :D

We did the picture taking thingy again. & thereafter, we went to change into our pjs!

We began the first game of the night -> Hen to guess who wrote the note on the wall! The note must be something that happened between the 2 of u. I wrote, "You made me tie your shoe lace!". Easy guess for the hen! haha. Look at the pictures to see what the rest wrote! super funny! Thereafter, we had charade! The words seriously memorable for the Hen. The hen was the only one guessing while all of us acted out. Never did we realize, all of us love performing. LOL. There were words such as "saga seed", "mrs ee", "best man", "16 degree celsius", "africa", "tkgs", "beef" etc. About 30+ words. All of us acted the final word together - "Tuba"!

The night has not ended yet. We did make up for the Hen! haha blindfolded. LOL. See the result below!

We continued playing twister. Hen must play every single round while the rest can take turns. There were really funny positions => entangling one another. Tired, we went to bathe one by one. While waiting to bathe, we continued snacking & played monopoly deal. The night officially ended at 4am. The next morning, we woke up at 9am & started snacking again! haha...
