One of my another colleague from the regional office left the company last friday. She is just another year older and the only one who I can relate to at work. She is always so nice & helpful. No more brushing buddy le. Sigh. Nevertheless, its for her own good. :) Wasn't able to lunch together on her last day as the sg team had to head to Batam for offsite conference. The whole conference was interactive and fun except for the asthma attack on my colleague and a drunk colleague who made a fool of himself in front of all of us. I was slightly disturbed by his action. Overall, the objectives of this offsite were met and the days of preparation were worthwhile. Rushed back at the wee hours to attend Aaron & Sam's wedding & I got the below picture while waiting for the ferry at the terminal:

How I love the sun rays that falls on the surface of the sea.We reached Furama at 10am for the rehearsal. We were super hungry. Got ourselves some sandwiches before Ms Poh turned into Mrs Lee. The whole ceremony started off with 3 worship songs. As the music faded into "Canon in D Major", she marched in with his father, bridesmaid and the flower girls & boys while he was waiting for her at the end of the walk. She was dressed in a bare-back cheongsam, graceful and beautiful. After they took their vows, went through the ritual, lit the lights and signed the papers, they were into a whole new relationship. As a husband, he gave her a bouquet of lilies. Just the same as she received on their first date. Following which were the tea ceremony, lunch, throwing of flower bouquet and many blessings. After the whole thing, we went home to sleep before heading town to catch Penelope. Nice show, fairy tale type and a nice way to end the tiring day.

Quote of the day: "Wedding is a day. Marriage is a lifetime."

The whole week had gone wrong. I was very upset about everything that happened and the unfair statements. Not sure if they are being tactless or something that I should reflect on. I can't help but think that everyone seems to be extremely selfish and no one is true. Sigh. & my grandma is hospitalised. When I saw the blue black & needles in my grandma's wrinkled arm, my heart aches. Last but not least, I missed my jap class.

Nevertheless, i went to Sam's hen night last night. Another eventful, unexpected episode. My arms are still aching..

Just got home from a sumptuous coy dinner at Beng Hiang Restauant along Amoy Street. The 10-course meal began with jellyfish and duck salad, followed by roasted chicken, mayo prawns, mushroom with spinach, stir-fried mian xian, steamed fish, fish maw soup, wu xiang, kong ba bao and lastly, almond longan and cocktail dessert *burp* They say these were all Hokkien dishes and me, as an authentic hokkien, was not aware. We will usually celebrate e joy of hitting our targets by indulging in food and more food. I say its difficult to diet in this coy due to the monthly temptations, frequent tea treats from my colleagues and occasional farewell parties. Nevertheless, I love eating! hee

Weekend was swimming at SIA, visiting the fortune teller (recommended by my colleague) in hougang and nua-ing in Sam's place. Sam is really a professional homemaker. While I was trying to chop the garlic, she finished folding all her dry clothes and began another round of washing. Then, she started cooking mee hoon soup for our dinner. Yummy, Yummy! Feel so nice to be treated with home cooked food.

My colleagues and I walked through oxley road to reach the much toned-down MS last friday. We started off w dinner at Sketches before heading into dblo. My pool skills really sucks to the max. My pregnant colleague was really unamused at how badly I was and decided to help me. Hahaz. I was really quite amazed with how she placed her tummy on the pool table, lifted herself up and hit every ball into every pocket. *jaw dropped* After a few rounds, we decided to head to the dance area for drinkings. vodka, barcadi and red wine were enough to kill me. I felt quite out of place when the crowd slowly came in. My colleagues went home quite early while the night continued w ba ku teh, a bottle of ultra sweet dessert at wine connection, 7/11's cup noodle n a walk to the bridge.

Sat was doing ppt at mac & starbucks after shopping in queensway. The power points were all removed. *furious* It was quite a nua day, w the rainy weather, dark mocha frap and spicy nuggets.

The Penthouse. The Glam. All nicely packaged into one movie. phew. hmmm I wonder how all of us will be like in our forties...

We caught Narnia in town last friday. While waiting for the show to start, we chanced on a skin exfoliation by feeding our feets to the toothless fishes for 10mins. It was so ticklish that I could only put in for 5 seconds and gave up almost immediately. Hahaz. The fishes were so fat after being fed by the dead skins by so many pple. After the unbearable ticklishness, we proceeded on to the much awaited chronicle. The kids had grown up. The sceneries were wonderful. I couldn't really rem what happened in the first one though. The 2 and a half movie got us sleepy and thirsty. We went on to Dubliner for some juices before sneaking into my ofc to get the stuffs. It was quite fun to go back ofc at 1am.

Weather was really bad for a swim yesterday. Hence, we went town earlier & met Leen for a quick lunch. She was telling us how unbearable the pain was and we got real scared. Nevertheless, we still went ahead with vanilla white chocolate, all off. I tried to the divert my attention and kept talking to therapist. It was fast and really painful at the sensitive parts. The result was good but there are many red dots now. I had a good time shopping too, from town to vivo and back. We ended the day at Shokudo.
