One of my another colleague from the regional office left the company last friday. She is just another year older and the only one who I can relate to at work. She is always so nice & helpful. No more brushing buddy le. Sigh. Nevertheless, its for her own good. :) Wasn't able to lunch together on her last day as the sg team had to head to Batam for offsite conference. The whole conference was interactive and fun except for the asthma attack on my colleague and a drunk colleague who made a fool of himself in front of all of us. I was slightly disturbed by his action. Overall, the objectives of this offsite were met and the days of preparation were worthwhile. Rushed back at the wee hours to attend Aaron & Sam's wedding & I got the below picture while waiting for the ferry at the terminal:

How I love the sun rays that falls on the surface of the sea.We reached Furama at 10am for the rehearsal. We were super hungry. Got ourselves some sandwiches before Ms Poh turned into Mrs Lee. The whole ceremony started off with 3 worship songs. As the music faded into "Canon in D Major", she marched in with his father, bridesmaid and the flower girls & boys while he was waiting for her at the end of the walk. She was dressed in a bare-back cheongsam, graceful and beautiful. After they took their vows, went through the ritual, lit the lights and signed the papers, they were into a whole new relationship. As a husband, he gave her a bouquet of lilies. Just the same as she received on their first date. Following which were the tea ceremony, lunch, throwing of flower bouquet and many blessings. After the whole thing, we went home to sleep before heading town to catch Penelope. Nice show, fairy tale type and a nice way to end the tiring day.

Quote of the day: "Wedding is a day. Marriage is a lifetime."
