My 1-week break is coming to an end. How time flies when you are dealing with your personal life. CNY was rather gloomy though. As usual, spent the 1st 2 days at my ah ma's hse. Saw my aunties and uncles. Filled my past 3 days with bank-visiting, movies (all's well ends well & e wedding games), mahjong sessions, daidee at ssb, blackjack (i got ban ban & gor leng!! lol) & ktv & bingo (screaming at the top of our voice for the numbers) at hy's hse, high tea w June at L'espresso (yummy pastries but not nice mocha) and lastly, Giant dinner (Kumar was hilarious!!) at Raffles City. Phew.

I am a little stressed out after today's PIP meeting. 3 brand plans out by the end of this week, with all e operational issues and last-minute meetings popping up here and there. Breathe, I say.

Last weekend was about swimming, shopping in a funfair at telok ayer road, visiting liberator, watching red cliff 2 (tony leung... drools), prata supper, jap class and more shopping!

I was rather taken aback when Mr. Q gave me a bottle of Thursday Plantation's TTO the first thing this morning. I considered that an insensitive concern but I still accepted it. From that few conversations with him, he seems to doubt my capability. He questioned the obvious and my responsibilities. He gives me a feeling that he thinks that I am too inexperience to contribute anything constructive. Good intention communicated wrongly.

I took leave last friday to enjoy the long weekend. Rest before the start of the year :) Phew. June & i combed vivo, ms and suntec. A fruitful shopping trip! keke. After dinner, we went on to clarke quay for a drink. After much roaming around, we entered Shiraz for Moscato, grape & apple shisha and some belly dancing right in front of us. First time to have a belly dancer so near me. wow. After an hr or so, I felt a little giddy and asked June whats the percentage. She said 4-5%. faint. Not wanting to end the night just like dat, we put our loots at my place and went to bellini. It was retro music for awhile before the performances came in. After which, we went on to Arena. r&b & hip hop. some light dancing before gg for a moonlight walk & ba ku teh supper.

On sat, we sent si off to sz in e morning before heading to ikea tamp for storage box shopping! hahaz. Its time to clean the mess in my room. Some were even contributed by my dear sista. After niam-ing her for so many years, she doesnt seem to want to start still. boo. We had brunch at ikea. Cold prawns! After which, we went on to book actually and trolley. The shops were nice decorated, stuffs there went really interesting but super pricey. I was particularly attracted to the white horse machine. Our movie show was supposed to be start at 730pm. Therefore, before that, we went to PS for some shopping. Wanted to a new bedsheet for my bed, we went in to Aussino. I wanted to make sure that the size I took was correct for my bed. Hence, I asked the sales lady if the bed on display was a single. She was rude and said in a bu-nai-fan manner, "i told you its single means its single" WTF. I gave the rest a super sianz face and walked off. After thinking of her bad attitude, I decided not to purchase anymore and put e bedsheet back to the shelf. Adding on to my anger, she actually mumbled to herself and said that I was petty! Incorrigible. Never mind her. We finally got some buys and headed to cathay for 7 pounds. Heart-warming but unable to agree. I think he needs to learn to forgive and move on. I know its easier said than done. Well, at least he made up for his mistake. I teared. After the movie, we went on to geylang for frog's leg porridge. Haven been to geylang for quite a while although its just a street away.

Was watching campus superstar earlier. Shawn & Jarod sang my fav song. Hahaz. Nice although Shawn's voice became so deep... hmmm time for bed.. another work day...monday blue blue...purple purple...

We spent our NYE at Carousel in Royal Scotts last evening. We started the buffet dinner at 7pm and ended at 11+pm. Black & silver parties hats, poppers and gears were prepared for the playtime. We headed straight to the seafood section and got ourselves many plates of sashimi, mussels, scallops, lobsters, crabs & oysters. The alaskan crab look-alike was so salty that I thought they just got it up from the ocean. I like e lobster roe & cold crab. Juicy! Half full, we went on for primeribs, lambs, hainanese chicken rice, curry, noodles, fish maw soup, tom yam soup etc. I was super full by then. However, wanting to make the dinner more worth it, we went on w more seafood, fruits and desserts! Ended e dinner w a glass of champagne & welcomed 2009. No wow-factor for the food but still amazed by e girls' gossiping abilities. Lolz. At the same time, we also celebrated HY's bday. After the fulfiling dinner, it was KTV session at partyworld. Beer & music. Was rather tired by 230am and went home for zzz-ing. I met W, today for "Childen of Men". Interesting story of a world w/o future. Bloody and battle shots. It was supposed to be a rather serious film but i kept laughing at the discontinuties of the scenes such as some positions and clothes. There were so many until I was quite unamused. For instance, the male lead was playing a cat facing to the right. After a split second, the cat was facing to the left. *Faint*
