Just got home from a sumptuous coy dinner at Beng Hiang Restauant along Amoy Street. The 10-course meal began with jellyfish and duck salad, followed by roasted chicken, mayo prawns, mushroom with spinach, stir-fried mian xian, steamed fish, fish maw soup, wu xiang, kong ba bao and lastly, almond longan and cocktail dessert *burp* They say these were all Hokkien dishes and me, as an authentic hokkien, was not aware. We will usually celebrate e joy of hitting our targets by indulging in food and more food. I say its difficult to diet in this coy due to the monthly temptations, frequent tea treats from my colleagues and occasional farewell parties. Nevertheless, I love eating! hee

Weekend was swimming at SIA, visiting the fortune teller (recommended by my colleague) in hougang and nua-ing in Sam's place. Sam is really a professional homemaker. While I was trying to chop the garlic, she finished folding all her dry clothes and began another round of washing. Then, she started cooking mee hoon soup for our dinner. Yummy, Yummy! Feel so nice to be treated with home cooked food.
