21 May, Thursday: Woke at 4+am and couldn't sleep anymore. The plane took off at 8.30am. I re-watched the Handsome Suite in my sleepy state. I met a korean guy who was on his way to Seoul. With his korean accent, I could only understand that he was coming back to Singapore in Aug to be studying in SMU. Haha I am his senior. Breakfast served inflight was good. Meiji yoghurt, bacons, egg cake, fruits and muffins. We touched down at 12 noon but only cleared the custom after 45 mins due to health declaration checkpoint. Custom officer was rude and threw my passport. Not a good first impression. The travel agent spotted us from afar and got us to the waiting area. Felt a bit hungry, we bot the bo luo bao from maxim in the terminal. The coach drove us to The Cityview hotel in yau ma tei and we did a temp scan with the receptionists. We put out luggages and began our crazy journey. Hong Kong Industrial Centre (Lai Chi Kok Station) -> Argyle Centre in Mong Kok -> Fa Yuen St -> Ladies St -> Temple St. It was non-stop walking from 3pm to 1am. Had bridge noodle, curry balls, sotongs for dinner and mango sago pomelo, steamed egg white w bird's nest, braised wings for supper. Slept at 2am while watching the tv.

22 May, Friday: Woke up at 9+am. We headed to Tsim Sha Tsui's Lock Road for some congee and chee cheong fun at 11am before heading to silvercord. On the way, we visited Bonjour (something like sasa). There, we found Food Republic and had our first roasted goose leg of the trip. Yummy, din expect to find good food in a foodcourt. We went to H&M, I.T sale shop (supposedly to be a factory outlets for the designers goods), Geox and G.O.D. Around 2pm, we went back to Lock Road (Hang Fa Lau) for mango pomelo sago, sesame in sago ball and grilled turnip cake. We went to Miramar Shopping Centre for Uniqlo, Muji, Porter, VW and AB. At 4pm, we headed to Causeway for Mak's noodles and Tai Cheong Bakery. Walked a bit of Jardine's bazzar and Jardine crescent before gg to Island Beverly Shopping Centre. Afterwhich, we went on to SOGO where they went having 24th anniversary sale. The crowd was undescribable. All the mega brands such as AB, VW, LC were slashing by 50%. The shoppers were grabbing whatever they could and the whole place looked like a pasar malam. After getting out of the crowd, we went to La Foret and WTC. La Foret in HK and Tokyo were very different. We had Ajisen at Lockhart Road for dinner. Afterwhich, we went to Maple for some shopping and Times Square as I was urgently looking for toilets. The day ended at 12am.

23 May, Saturday: Woke up at 7am. Took a ferry to Macau at 9am. Someone came and claimed that we were taking their seats but to find the fault in the issuer. Reached Macau at 10+am to find that it was storming. The tour guide brought to Wynns Hotel (caught a show there as well) and waited for 3 others before gg to have portugese egg tarts at Margaret's. We wanted to have Lord Stows but was told that it was too far. Therefore, the tour guide took us to Margaret's which was opened by Lord Stow's former wife. I like the layered crusts and creme brulee style. Next, we went to the Ruins of St Paul's, Ma Zu Temple and the Venetian. Took many pictures in the rain. We took the ferry back to Hong Kong at 6pm. The sea was so choppy that I vomitted twice. It felt like taking viking for an hr. We took a cab to The Peak and went up to the highest level to find that it was too misty and windy to see anything (amber rain signal). We went on to Central for Yung Kee's famous roasted goose, fish maw soup and stuffed tou fu. Next to it was Lan Kwai Fong. There were many pple drinking and dancing. Quite a place for the expats I suppose. Went back due to persistent raining and watched tv until 3am.

24 May, Sunday: Woke up at 8+am to have dim sum near our hotel, Tak Yu. I felt like I went to Hong Kong in the 60's. It was very traditional. The ah ma pushing the carts was kinda fierce. We went on to Central for some shopping. We bought the braised pigeon and went to a small cha chan ting for some food. The braised pigeon tasted like liver, din like it. We also went to H&M, Sasa, The Landmark. We saw the thin, cute buses which was running on cable and hopped into one for the feel of it. The 2 stops only cost us 2HKD each. We went back to Dundas St near our hotel and got into this shopping centre called Trendy Zone by chance. Quite a bit of stuffs to buy. Afterwhich, we had bubble tea, fried big intestines and fried noodles. The travel agent came to pick us up at 430pm. Reached Singapore at 12am. Yawnz.
