NYE started with Mambo. It's been at least 2+ years since I stepped into Zouk. The place was seriously jam packed that there was no space for dancing but knocking into one and another with every movement. Suffocating and uncomfortable, we went on to have ba ku teh for supper and ended the night at almost 3am. I woke up a 730am for work. Lucky not late for work but had many cups of coffee to keep myself awake. Most of us had no mood to work. Work officially ended at 4pm. I went home to change and did some preparation for the night before meeting Beckii at 7pm, in her office. The last meal of 2009 was at chuan wei ren jia steamboat in Chinatown with Beckii, June and her friends. The steamboat was for each individual and I had chicken soup base. Some of them had ma la which was almost like chilli oil soup. The place was rather crowded and noisy due to a bunch of ah tiongz. However, it was an enjoyable dinner. After 2+ of steamboat buffet, Beckii and I went to get our stuffs in her office, bought 7 cups of oolong milk tea before Sam got over to fetch us from her church. The traffic was slow in chinatown. Next, we went to pan pac to pick up Si as she was attending a wedding dinner there. We reached sam's hse carpark, met Sheena and HL and found some abandoned fishes on top of the water hose. We sat infront of the TV and watched the countdown parties in MB and Vivo. At the count to 2010, we popped the Moet and cheers to 2010. Each of us chose a bottle of chocolate liqueur and toasted again. As for the rest, we played da /xiao to finish them. Next, we played texas hold'em, blackjack and mahjong. We had persimmon (i like!), mango, cherries, topshell, snacks and moscato throughout the night. Aaron and I found ginger ale and had martell! yummy! I fell asleep about 6am and was woken up at 7+am to go home. I was so tired that I slept until 4+pm. Yawnz.
