Shepherd's pie, chicken pie, chips, gummy, fruits & drinks were all ready for the hens night when I got there at 5+pm. There were around 9 of us & I havent met most of them. We started off with each one of us writing a burning question for the bride-to-be in a piece of paper. All of us gathered around, with food in one hand, sitting cozily & listened to the bride-to-be's every answer. The evening continued with photo-taking at a really nice corner of the house & playing charades (all the words were linked to the wedding & the couple). Had a good time laughing. A chocolate cake was prepared for the BTB. As her bday is coming in a few days' time, we decided to sing her a bday song! lol. She gave a speech on how each of us had been special in our own ways to her. haha. While having the cake, we looked through the old photos & was so shocked by how young we looked (13 years ago! omg!). I dont even have some of the pictures. Like those sentosa picture with us posing on the bridge/islet. I was in black baggy pants and a black spat strap tweety bird top, slim, looking so sweet & young. Haha. We started talking bout our sch days & how she used to be laughing/giggling non-stop. Next, it was presents time! We were told to bring some little/small items for her to be put in the house or sth. Some got toothbrush, diary, photo frame, ornaments, forks & spoons, shower foams. Si & I got her a pair of green floral lovely scented hangers. Totally country looking. Hee. Very heartwarming type of hens night :) Yep, we weren't in close contacts all these years after jc. When i see her again, those memories were pouring in. studying in united sq mac , hanging ard in taka sq, encouraging each other (first love, exams, she always signing off with 2 steps behind), her final fantasy, my hello kitty.. hope she'll hav a blissful marriage!
